After serving more than 30 years in various corporate financial operations and management roles, Andrew brought together a young, talented team to form Nguyen & Co., CPA.

Andrew’s experience and passion are the compass that guide our firm’s operations. With boundless energy and tenacity, Andrew utilizes the ‘reflective pyramid’ concept in linking people, process, and systems to provide seamless flow from sales to operations, and financials.

Andrew has a keen feel for what works and can tell clients whether their operations are efficient, effective, and profitable. He is a master at developing solutions that work, and because of his experience, Andrew anticipates outcomes to minimize disruptions. Andrew’s role as a financial leader (or Janitor as Andrew likes to say) is to consider every part of a business’s finances. He directs our team and our client’s team in developing adaptable, and practical business solutions.

Carlos joined Andrew fresh out of business school, with a concentration in finance, to build our firm from the ground up. Together, Carlos and Andrew developed accounting services that support small business with our innovative tier structure.

With over 10 years of experience at our firm, Carlos has led our team in working with a multitude of business industries that vary in size and structure. He excels at finding and delivering workable, cost effective solutions to enhance client operations. To implement and measure the results our clients need, Carlos utilizes the ‘reflective pyramid’ concept in linking people, process, and systems.

Carlos is well-versed and adaptable to any situation, earning his nickname “the fixer” among our team. When working to find the best solutions and partnerships, Carlos ensures each client receives the best effort and resolve. His positive energy and resourcefulness is based on his solid understanding of financial planning and analysis.

Gianna joined Andrew after a full year of experience in IT Project Management. With over 10 years of experience here at Nguyen & Co., CPA, she has developed policies and procedures to maximize client’s accounting operations. Gianna’s tenure spans various business industries, sizes, and structures.

In her work, Gianna utilizes the ‘reflective pyramid’ concept in linking people, process, and systems to implement and measure the results our clients need. Gianna works closely with Carlos to design and implement processes. They then work together to helps our client’s teams
understand and utilize these new systems.

Gianna’s innate nature and sense of diligence (we like to call Gianna the enforcer) enhances our client’s businesses for long-term success. If a client’s business can’t seem to find a rhythm, and responsibilities are unclear, Gianna finds the right procedures necessary to bring order, and clarity to a business’s operations.

Kevin Nguyen

Working towards a CFA in CA

Kevin began as an intern at Nguyen & Co., CPA firm, and joined the team after graduating from business school. Now with over 10 years of experience at our firm, Kevin has successfully managed clients across various business industries, sizes, and structures. Kevin is well versed in accounting systems. He understands the critical importance of financial data management to ensure client’s accounting transactions are recorded within policy, and IT control.

Kevin provides important IT management and guidance not only to our firm, but also to our clients. His job is to implement standard systems performance, and system security control. By understanding and applying the ‘reflective pyramid’ relationship of people, process, and systems, Kevin works closely with our team to communicate with clients, and ensure timely reporting and accounting systems management.

Between grinding the day-to-day details, performing daily accounting operations like AR, AP, & month-end closing, Kevin is an integral part of the team (we like to call him the do-er).
